Performance Classes
Mr. Steiner’s performance
classes have been sometimes in the
form of a traditional
violin masterclass, sometimes a lecture
and, most frequently, both. Some of the
topics which have been taken up at the performance
classes are:
- “Performing Under Pressure”
- “A Vocal Approach to Violin Technique”
- “Resultful Practice Proceedures”
- “The Discipline of Positively Conceived Statements in
Teaching and Practicing”
- “Studies with Dorothy DeLay and Nathan Milstein”
Usually more than one topic is discussed. Each
lecture includes a discussion period.
